“I bought Urad a while ago and just used it on all my horse leather. Both my
bridle and saddle look new. I LOVE IT! I took all my tack out to the barn and
everyone marveled at it. Now they all want to try it. They couldn't believe how great it all looked.” Beverly (USA) |

How to use |

“I use the neutral Urad on my show tack for an amazing shine, and frankly it is the best tack product I have ever used.” Gemma (England)

"...Urad is very much favoured by the side-saddle fraternity in Great Britain..." Henriett Chew |
URAD |
- It is the most popular product with horseback riders. It's
the all in one natural product. It contains mineral salts to clean, lanolin oil to moisturize and keep the natural waterproofed quality of the leather, and
carnauba wax to shine and protect.
It will not stain, it will not stay greasy and will not make your saddle slippery!
You can use the neutral weekly without problems. If you clean your saddle more than that, alternate with GRASSO to prevent wax build up. (1 or 2 times Urad, 1 or 2 times GRASSO)
- For the stirrups, brush off excess dirt first, then use URAD.
- URAD is non toxic, so it can be used on the bridles as well.
- The product usually dries in a minute or so, but on hot summer days may take up to 20 minutes to completely penetrate leather. Still, it will not stain, but just wait a bit before riding...
- To prevent build-ups in corners or stitches, use only a small amount of URAD and spread it on larger leather parts first, then without putting more product, finish what is left in the sponge on those more difficult areas.

GRASSO |
- Although you can use URAD for it's cleaning and shining powers, I prefer GRASSO for the bridles. It softens and waterproofs better and you can even apply to the underside.
- As described in the product section, it will replace any oils you're using. Its high content of LANOLIN oil works
great to break in new saddles.
- We recommend using at least GRASSO 2 or 3 times a year as it will moisturize more deeply than URAD.
- GRASSO will not stay sticky or greasy. Oils products that do stay
greasy simply do not penetrate leather. It also means they won't do a
good job of moisturizing thick leather. GRASSO will. The bonus is you
dont need to wait for days for it to dry. Usually, it will completely penetrate leather in 45 minutes.

TENDERLY |
- TENDERLY is first and foremost a softener for delicate leather. When used on regular leather it will produce similar
results than GRASSO as to softening your leather, but could sometimes make leather too slippery for a saddle...
Also, because of the thickness of saddle's leather, GRASSO should be considered the best softner for saddles.
- The main benefit of using TENDERLY will be obtained when used on top of URAD (after you have applied URAD) or mixed with URAD (2 tbls of Tenderly for a 7oz jar of URAD) because it makes URAD dry in seconds!

|
AQUILA leather cleaner |
- Its a very good cleaner for leather, Nubuck and suede. Because it is a gentle cleaner, it can be used daily without a problem.
- Spray, and wipe off. No tips here, its that simple.
|
URAD COLORS |
- URAD is available in colors but is not
recommended for saddles.
- URAD colors usually dont rub off, except if it rains!
- So use the black or the brown on your boots to get a better shine, to hide scuff marks better than the neutral, and because it holds much better than regular shoe
polish and is much quicker to use.
