All our products have been subjected to exhaustive testing. However, since every leather is unique, both in terms of the raw materials, products employed and tanning methods used in its preparation, we recommend that a colour resistance test be made on a less visible part of the article prior to the application of any leather care product.

Either salt has risen back to the surface (this salt could be from residuals in the tanning process, from sweat, or from the exterior)
or, you have used URAD too much or too often. (See question «How much is very little?» ?)
Or finally, you've used Urad on a too porous leather.

To remove gum from leather furniture or car interior: Use Lighter fluid. Simply scrub it off with a towel and a little lighter fluid. For small leather objects like gloves or purses, put the object in the freezer until the gum freezes. Once the gum is frozen it comes off easily!

The key instruction with URAD is: USE VERY LITTLE! You are not trying to hide your leather, you want to moisturize it! So use URAD just like a skin cream, not like make-up! It's not a case of «The more I use, the better the result is...» A good thumb rule is that you should not see the product on your leather. You should only see nice clean and shiny leather! Also, make sure not to fill stitches.
So how much??? Well, dip ½ inch of one corner of the sponge (provided) and wipe it off the side of the jar. Use only the small amount of product left in the sponge. Spread it well by rubbing it in, make sure you do not see streaks of wet product on the leather; keep spreading wider until they are gone.
